Pikliz Slaw
Ungodly spicy Haitian coleslaw
- 1/4 head red cabbage
- 4-5 carrots
- 1-2 white or yellow onion
- 4-6 habañero peppers
- 0.5 dl 12% ättika (white vinegar)
- 1.5 dl water
- 0.5 dl apple cider vinegar
- 2 limes
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 0.5 tsp salt
Julienne all the vegetables.
Combine all ingredients, stir.
Refrigerate for at least 8 hours, but 24 hours is better.
Eat with a side of something you don't want to taste. Breathe fire.
