Eggnog
Alcoholic milky egg juice
- 6 eggs
- 140 g (1.5 dl) sugar
- 350 ml cream
- 700 ml milk
- 1 tbsp nutmeg
- 0.1 tsp salt
- 2 dl bourbon or cognac (optional)
Throw all but the alcohol in a blender and blend. Optionally, you can separate the yolks and egg whites, beat the whites with an electric mixer, and fold them back in to the blended drink. This makes it very creamy, but isn't really worth the effort
Optionally, stir in alcohol. Or you can skip this completely, or do it at serving time instead.
When serving, optionally grate fresh nutmeg on top.
